Clinical Lead | Advanced Positive Behaviour Support Full Time, Hybrid Working Model, Melbourne Our client has an exciting and exclusive opportunity available for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to step into a clinical leadership role within their growing, values driven organisation. This position is ideal for an Advanced or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about mentoring others, strengthening clinical practice and delivering evidence informed, support. Alongside maintaining a small clinical caseload, you will provide clinical guidance to Behaviour Support Practitioners, contribute to service development and play a key role in maintaining high standards of practice across the team. The Opportunity In this role, you will: Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners across varying levels of experience. Conduct and oversee comprehensive behavioural and functional assessments for individuals presenting with complex support needs. Develop and review high quality, Positive Behaviour Support Plans in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements. Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes. Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices through contemporary Positive Behaviour Support approaches. Deliver education, coaching and practical training to families, support workers and other key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Behaviour Support Plans. Monitor participant outcomes, evaluate interventions and ensure services remain aligned with legislative, ethical and clinical best practice. Contribute to clinical governance, continuous quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of the Behaviour Support service. Provide leadership support to the broader team while fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. About You To be considered, you will demonstrate: Registration, or eligibility for registration, as an Advanced or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Significant experience developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans within the disability sector. Previous experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or leadership to Behaviour Support Practitioners. Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, restrictive practice legislation and NDIS compliance requirements. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology or other related allied health discipline. A genuine commitment to neurodiversity affirming, strengths based and person centered practice.
